Parking
It is a ticketless parking. There is parking behind the church and underground. Access is via the driveway to the north of the church—on the right hand side of the photo.
Parking fee will be waived when attending church events or activities.
Note that the parking facilities are run commercially during weekdays and so unless you are attending a church event or activity you will be required to pay commercial rates.
If the church car park is full, overflow parking is available in a number of commercial parking buildings nearby. On Sundays, the parking building on Upper Queen Street generally offers free parking.
How does it work on Sunday?
If you're attending the church services or activities, the parking fee will be waived. However, if attending any other activities post church activities, we ask you to vacate your parking space as we have a number of services held at different times.
It is a ticketless parking. Entry barrier arm will be raised as you come in the driveway. On Sunday, validate your car by keying-in your car plate number in the Ipads (located in the church front foyer & side entrance). Please make sure you have your the correct car plate number as exit barrier will not be raised when you exit.
The carpark will be closed & locked at 10.30pm. If you are locked out, please intercom the carpark management at either pay station machine located in Level B1 (carpark) or at the exit barrier. Call-out fee will be borne by you.
Extra paid parking is available at the Mercury Lane car park, accessible via Mercury Lane. The Sunday rate is reduced. Parking is also available at 20 Upper Queen Street.
How does it work if I come to a church meeting during business hours & outside business hours?
Again, validate your car by keying-in your car plate number in the Ipads (located in the church front foyer & side entrance).
What if I use the car park during business hours for other than church activities?
You will be required to pay the standard fee based on the length of time parked. Same procedure to get into the carpark, the pay station machine is located in Level B1 (carpark) of the 441 building.
What happens if my car is locked in overnight?
Either come back the next day or intercom the carpark management at either pay station machine located in Level B1 (carpark) or at the exit barrier. Call-out fee & extra parking hours will be borne by you.
Can I drop people off in the driveway prior to going into the car park?
Very definitely NO! This has caused several near misses as following cars are unable to fully enter the driveway and have almost been collected by cars coming down Queen Street. A tow-away company has full authority to tow all cars in the driveway.
REMEMBER the four simple steps when using the car park at any time:
- Follow the arrows.
- Stop at the double line.
- Wait for the lights to turn green (this raises the roller door).
- Validate your car in the church (for church meetings) or pay at pay station machine located in Level B1 (carpark)
