Global Representative I am born in sunny Singapore and became a Christian at 17 when a schoolmate invited me to go to a church near the school. I accepted Christ soon after hearing the gospel because I believe in a Creator God and that I was very much aware of my sinful nature. I have been active in church since a teenager doing various things – giving tuition to needy kids in the church neighbourhood, editor in the youth magazine, leading bible studies, writing to Christian prisoners and others. I moved to Melbourne to marry Ted. We returned to New Zealand in 1992 and Samuel was born two years later. We came to the Tabernacle around 1999 and was involved with the Global ministry for many years, assisted in setting up the previous All Nations and Living Waters before returning to the Tabernacle in 2018. One of the young Global leaders asked me to help to lead table discussions as various ones were away. I agreed and began to feel at home all over again. It was like we never left. I am thankful to God for the life He has given me and the opportunity to serve Him. The Tabernacle is strategically placed to make disciples of all nations; they come to us and we go to them. I have set my eyes on the things that are above; they are eternal from everlasting to everlasting. Amen to the Glory of the Risen King. |
