The Tabernacle Missions Committee facilitates our workers overseas who are engaged in cross-cultural service. Our mandate is to:

1. To keep the focus of mission before the congregation through education and equipping for service.
2. To promote prayer and financial support for our own missions team as well as for the work of NZ Baptist Missionary Society, Tranzsend.
3. To motivate and encourage members of the congregation to train and be equipped for cross-cultural world mission, be it in NZ or overseas, and guiding those who are sensing the call of God on their lives.

The Tab currently has missionaries in the following countries:

Europe
Middle East
Thailand
Indonesia
Africa
Japan
Some Creative Access Countries

 

We also send out regularly teams on Short term trips (typically 4-6 weeks).  This summer we have sent teams to Thailand and Bangladesh.
