You are warmly invited to be part of Global, an international kiwi group of the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle church. We are an international church and enjoy befriending people of all cultures who come to New Zealand!

Our Global's Goal is that through Jesus, relationship is experience with the one true living God, and in love reaches out to many people of many nations. "I have made my name known to those whom you gave me from the world." John 17:6

The Global Community...
In Global we contextualise the Gospel by bringing people into a community of love, demonstrated with unity in the group within its diversity. Friendship is a primary focus. People sit, eat and talk and make friends. Friendships are formed in singing groups, drama teams, small groups, sport and picnic activities. Global leaders show care in many ways, pastoral care; assistance with English; familiarizing people with the way of life in NZ; cooking and sharing food; hosting Internationals in their homes for meals and help.

Wednesday Bible Study...
The Wednesday night meeting starts with communal worship, then small groups gather for studies and discipleship. Omega is one program we use; a cyclic intentional program, to grow people as followers of Jesus and help disciples become disciple makers. Starts with welcome and announcement, and singing. Then we explore the Bible (the world ’ s most popular book). We also have discussions in small groups.

Celebrations...
Global celebrates the richness of cultures. In worship, 4 ethnic music teams lead praise of God in different languages.
